Solar Powered DC circulation pumps allow elimination of controller and temperature probes by connecting the pump directly to a photovoltaic solar panel. If you wish an solar system with the solar panels split from the tank, you will need a circulation pump to circulate water or glycol from the panels on the roof to the storage tank below.
